About the Role
Role Description
The Project Manager at MeritBey is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering research, analytics, and digital intelligence projects on time, within scope, and within budget. This role acts as the central coordination point between clients, internal delivery teams, and stakeholders, ensuring high-quality outcomes and consistent project governance.
The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, stakeholder management capabilities, and experience managing complex, multi-stream projects in consulting, research, or technology-driven environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end project planning, execution, and delivery across multiple client engagements
Define project scope, timelines, milestones, resource plans, and budgets
Coordinate cross-functional teams including research, analytics, technology, and account management
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on project execution, progress, and risks
Monitor project performance using KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks
Identify, track, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies
Ensure adherence to quality standards, methodologies, and delivery best practices
Manage change requests, scope adjustments, and client expectations effectively
Facilitate project governance forums such as status meetings, steering committees, and retrospectives
Maintain accurate project documentation including plans, trackers, and post-project reviews
Support continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery processes
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Management, or a related field (MBA or PMP certification preferred)
5–10 years of experience in project management within consulting, research, analytics, or technology environments
Proven experience delivering client-facing projects with multiple stakeholders
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
Proficiency with project management tools such as JIRA, MS Project, Asana, Trello, or similar
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Experience with budget management, resource planning, and delivery governance
High level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail
